Event - Shed lunch - October 2024.
The Shed Committee decided to put on a lunch for Members at the Odin Tavern on Thursday 10th October starting at noon.
The meal was paid for from Shed funds and drinks were available for purchase at the bar.
Thanks to Deane Palmer, here are a few photos at the Odin Tavern where 35 happy members enjoyed a pub lunch in a great atmosphere of loud chatter and laughter.
We think the consensus at the end of the afternoon was "bring on the next one!"

Event - November 2022 stall at the Stirling Farmers Market
On Sunday 20 November the Karrinyup Men’s shed got into the action with a stall at the Stirling Farmers Market.
After a chilly 6:30 am start for some, the sun came out on what was a very successful market day, with the resulting sale of large amount of shed products.
Christmas shoppers chasing bargains were out in their droves. Food serving platters and cutting boards being popular sellers, along with picnic tables, insect hotels and smaller stocking fillers.
Thanks to all those members who over recent months have contributed to the stash of goods.
Also, a big shout out to those guys who started early transporting stuff in their cars and to those later starters, who using their best selling techniques, were able to shift the stuff so enthusiastically.
Event - May 2022 stall at the Stirling Farmers Market
On Sunday 22 May the Karrinyup Men’s shed got into the action with a stall at the Stirling Farmers Market to celebrate International Bee Day.
The market buzzed with activity, which included bee keepers, bee costumes, honey (of course) and bee face painting. There was sweet success for the Men's Shed team of Jeff C, Terry S, and Norm P who "buzzied" themselves selling Bee Hotels, with 17 of them winging out the door to happy customers.
Several orders were placed by latecomers who missed out on earlier offerings, proving that you can't afford to get beehind!
A small selection of other shed products was on offer with sales of Gareth's round coffee table, 2 folding picnic tables and several cutting boards featured.
Norm again managed to entertain several tiny tots with free rocking horse-rides, but try as he did, didn't quite clinch any sales. We think he could be ready for the knacker's yard – the horse that is!

Event - Easter 2022 sausage sizzle
About 25 members and a couple of visitors turned out for the Shed's Easter sausage sizzle on Thursday 14th April.
The weather was perfect and the sausages cooked to a turn by Chef Nick, who also treated us to home made pizza and pickled quail eggs.
It was great to see Karl and Leo make an appearance, both after absences due to illness. The guys were looking well rested and happy to catch up with shed mates again.
We were pleased to welcome Ray and Sam representing Urbotanica, our new 'business' partners. Both were quite impressed with our shed operation.
Karrinyup Community Men's Shed Christmas Lunch
On Monday 20th December 2021, 42 members celebrated Christmas with a sausage sizzle lunch under the shade of the gigantic spreading ficus tree.
Those present enjoyed catching up with members we only see on these occasions.
Many members only attend the shed on a special occasion or one to two days a week.
Event - Stirling Farmers Market, 21 November 2021
On Sunday, 21st November a group of Shedders attended the Stirling Farmers market with their very best "selling hats" on. The event was co-ordinated by Frank D'Silva and Peter Buegge, and with help from other members ensured that it was a successful day.
This year many more members contributed by making items for sale.
Two types of rocking horses, different sizes and shapes of serving boards/platters, picnic tables, bird boxes, etc were some of the items which sold very quickly. The product range and the quality was much better as compared to previous years.
Many members came in to manage the stall and talk to the general public.
Some members of the public showed interest in how we use recycled timber and this raised the awareness of the Men's Shed and its purpose.

Stirling Farmer's Market October 2020
The KCMS stall at Stirling Farmer's Market on Sunday 4 October was organised by Frank D'Silva and Norm Patison, with assistance from a band of helpers.
Ice Cream Cart October 2020
Kingsley McGuire, Deane Palmer and Jeff Crookes brought a little sunshine into the lives of residents at Brightwater's Onslow House care home, Subiaco, on 8 October 2020 when they helped Brightwater's Adriana Philippou unveil a new ice-cream cart.
Residents were delighted when treated to ice-creams for morning tea. The cart, constructed by Kingsley at KCMS, will bring happiness to residents this coming summer when care home manager John does his rounds of the rooms ringing his bell and serves residents with their icy treats.
